Mr. Bishar Maalim Abdullahi, is a retired public servant with wealth of experience having worked in the departments of Social Services, Probation and After Care and Children’s Services. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and masters in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi. While in service, Mr. Bishar put a lot of efforts to rescue children from hostile environments, identify and commit children to safe places, monitor offender behaviour to ensure they follow orders issued by the court, ensured offenders could access counselling to enable them become acceptable members of the society and supervision and re-integration of offenders within the community. Mr. Bishar served as Member of the Mandera County Assembly representing Takaba Ward 2017-2022.
