Mr. Oloo has served in various professional committees such as National Crime Research Centre as a Council member serving in finance and administration , and audit sub committees, National Council on the Administration of Justice (NCAJ) , International Correction Prison Association (ICPA) , United Nations African Institute for the Prevention of Crime Prevention and Treatment of Offenders Criminal Justice (UNAFRI); the United Nations

Asia and Far East Institute for the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders (UNAFEI); Penal Reform International (PRI); and, the International Centre for Criminal Law Reform and Criminal Justice Policy (ICCLR, Kenya National Association of Probation Officers(KNAPO), Chairman, Africa Probation and Community Service Network(APC-Network), Chairman Compassionate Neighbours Mission, and Chairman ‘ Mirai’the Future of Kenya.

At the local community level, he is a member and treasurer of Central Ugenya Development Society (CUDS) Mr. Oloo has been recognized at National and International level for his role in community based offender management which culminated in the prestigious International Corrections Association ‘ Corrrectional Excellence’ Award presented during ICPA conference Namibia , 2014.

He was appointed by H.E the President as a member of Power of Mercy Advisory Committee in May, 2018
